The voting to select the best European destinations for 2017 has begun. As part of the organization’s European Best Destinations, Stari Grad will represent Croatia on the tourist map of Europe for the next year in the company of 19 European cities that are struggling for the same title.
 
For this prestigious title, Stari Grad is competing next to amazing cities like Paris, San Sebastian, Amsterdam, Prague and Athens.

Gipsy swing jazz at Veneranda – 19.11.

Repassage | 19.11. HvarThe band Repassage, from Split, will be having a concert in Hvar. The band will play on Saturday, November 19th, in the chapel at the Veneranda, starting at 22 o’clock.

 

The concert is held by organization Glazbeni studio Hvar in cooperation with the town of Hvar and the Spektar of RS. Bend Minuano, from Hvar, will be performing at the opening.

As already said this festivity will be held in Stari Grad, on Ploca Square, followed by the presentation of local honeybee breeders. On booths you can find honey cookies and gingerbread, anything that comes with bees and honey.
As stated by the President of bee breeders, Mr. Boris Buratovic, `The goal of this manifestation is to let the tourists and all visitors know more about actual bee products, as it is for sure the best honey products are made by bee breeders themselves`.
