Honey Days at the Island of Hvar is a festivity of nature and represents another segment of Croatian offer is organically embedded in the historical roots and the long tradition of honeybees cultivation. As already said this festivity will be held in Stari Grad, on Ploca Square, followed by the presentation of local honeybee breeders. On booths you can find honey cookies and gingerbread, anything that comes with bees and honey.
As stated by the President of bee breeders, Mr. Boris Buratovic, `The goal of this manifestation is to let the tourists and all visitors know more about actual bee products, as it is for sure the best honey products are made by bee breeders themselves`.
